Rune Frederiksen | 2011-2014 Dr Rune Frederiksen – then director of the Danish Institute at Athens – was given four subsequent grants from the Carlsberg Foundation during 2011-2014 to carry out a complete excavation, study and publication of the theatre at the ancient Greek city state of Kalydon. The project was carried out as a new Danish-Greek collaborative project.
