Can I, as a university-employed researcher be considered a ”professional communicator”?

A researcher is considered a professional communicator if their tasks include communication at a level and for a target audience, which significantly exceeds the normal communication, that is expected from a researcher as indicated in the University Act.

Do ”public institutions” include universities?

Yes. Applications from universities must document professional communication experience on behalf of the employee, who is expected to be responsible for the project.

What does it mean to have “documented professional experience with communication”?

The applicant must be able to document that they have experience with, for example but not limited to, production of podcasts or videos, publishing of popular scientific books or articles, or organising of public lectures, festivals or the like.
