Summary
This conference is about theoretical particle physics, or rather about quantum correction to predictions regarding the scattering of elementary particles and their computation. In order to get the full benefit from particle scattering experiments such as those taking place at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN, it becomes necessary to have an extremely precise idea about the predictions from the underlying theory. The conference will bring together three groups of experts, each specializing in their own aspect of the necessary theory. Together these communities will join their forces for three days at the Niels Bohr Institute and under the name of "Elliptic Bootstrap Methods" introduce a new paradigm to theoretical particle physics.
SSR
A conference of this kind will bring together the best researches from around the globe. As such it will help strengthen the international networking in an already extremely international field. Aside from that, the project is purely theoretical, and therefore the societal impact outside of pure research must be considered minimal.
