Summary
The purpose of the meeting is to bring together young mathematicians (PhD students and early postdocs) working in areas related to Applied Algebra and Combinatorics. This includes topics such as Applied Algebraic Geometry, Algebraic Statistics, Tensor decomposition or Matroid theory, closer to the mathematical side, and Phylogenetics, Chemical Reaction Network Theory, Image Recognition or Robotics, more on the side of the applications. This meeting will be the third edition of a series, and it will be the first one taking place outside Germany. The structure of the meeting is designed to give participants the opportunity of sharing their own research, actively promote collaborations, and also bring them tools that they may incorporate.
