The metal-organic framework (MOF) glasses are a newly emerged family of glasses. MOF glasses feature a number of unique chemical and physical properties. However, the underlying thermodynamics of MOF glass formation is still far from being understood. In this project, we aim to gain thermodynamic insights into MOF melting, glass formation and glass transition. To this end, we seek to conduct calorimetric studies using high-precision calorimetric analyses on both MOF glasses and their parent crystals. This will allow us to correlate the MOF structure with the thermodynamic behavior of glass formation.
