Summary

The project on will support the acquisition to GfK’s consumer panel data from Denmark by the Department of Management, Aarhus University. GfK’s consumer panel cover purchase records of fast-moving consumer goods from about 2,500 Danish households, starting from 2001. The project will further fund acquisition of the data until 2022. The data will be used to: (a) run research projects in the fields of branding and retailing, (b) support PhD and master thesis research projects, (c) train students in analysis of panel data through teaching in topics of brand management and market analysis, (d) create opportunities for research funding, and (e) allow for international collaboration with researchers and research groups that have experience in working with similar data.
