The grant holder is responsible for following the existing guidelines.

Grant period

The grant period is outlined in the grant letter or in the subsequently submitted notice. Carlsberg Mindelegat must approve any change in the grant period.

Any request for a change in the grant period must be submitted via the Carlsberg Mindelegat application and grant system (CF-Grant), no later than one month before the end of the grant period.

If the funding has not been fully used at the expiration of the grant period, the remainder of the grant will be withdrawn.

Disbursement of grants

Any grant disbursement requests must be submitted via the Carlsberg Mindelegat application and grant system (CF-Grant).

Grants will be reported to the Danish Customs and Tax Administration (SKAT) with reference to the relevant CVR or CPR number in accordance with the applicable legislation.

Administration of the grant

The grant should be administered by the Danish institution where the project is conducted.

Redistribution of budget lines

Any redistribution of individual budget lines exceeding 25 % requires prior approval from the Carlsberg Mindelegat. For this approval, the Carlsberg Foundation template “Financial statement for budget reallocation”, found at the bottom of this page, must be used.

To submit the budget reallocation request, the grantee must create a message with the attached file in the Carlsberg Foundation application and grant system (CF-Grant).

Change of grant holder

A grant from Carlsberg Mindelegat is given to the main applicant.

In the event of a change of job or death, the grant becomes void by default. Transfer of a grant to another person requires an exceptional reason and must be approved by Carlsberg Mindelegat.

Communication and publication

In connection with general communication, and contact with the media, we encourage you to state that the project is supported by Carlsberg Mindelegat.

Reporting

A financial statement must be submitted no later than three months after the termination of the grant period. The financial statement must be submitted via the Carlsberg Mindelegat application and grant system (CF-Grant) using the Carlsberg Mindelegat reporting template.

An evaluation report must be submitted no later than three months after the termination of the grant period. The report must be submitted via the Carlsberg Mindelegat application and grant system (CF-Grant).

The evaluation report should not exceed two A4 pages and must contain the following in the stated order:

  1. Title of the project
  2. Summary of the project aims
  3. Summary of the collaboration with media-related professionals
  4. Further communication activities related to the project (if any)
  5. Achieved results
Qualitative in terms of realisation of the project
  6. Achieved impact
Quantitative in terms of audience reach and target groups
  7. Reference
Links to public presentations of the project and access to the content

The grant will terminate once Carlsberg Mindelegat has approved the reporting.

If a grant holder does not follow the reporting guidelines, the Carlsberg Mindelegat has the right to demand that the grant be partly or fully repaid.
