• To what extent are the methods and theoretical approach of the highest standard for the project?

Feasibility

• To what extent is the project plan realistic?
• To what extent is the budget well-justified?
• To what extent are there significant risk factors that may prevent project execution?

Potential impact

• To what extent is the proposed research likely to lead to breakthroughs with major long-term impact on science and society?

Applicant

• To what extent does the applicant have a strong research profile and the relevant experience for leading the project?
