How can we reach a better understanding of political violence, conflict, and peace? The International Peace and Conflict Studies Methods Workshop brings together junior and senior researchers that use quantitative and qualitative data and methods in answering this question. Hosted at Aarhus University's Sandbjerg Estate, the workshop hosts peace researchers from Europe and beyond to enable a close exchange and feedback on cutting-edge empirical contributions to the field. The workshop builds on a successful track record of integrating junior scholars and will strengthen the international network of peace researchers. Furthermore, the workshop integrates different empirical methods to understand violent conflict better, from in-depth case studies to large-scale conflict prediction.
