Summary
With this project, we are exploring how circular RNAs may help organize large RNA granules inside cells. RNA granules manage and regulate protein activity during e.g. stress or infection. Using advanced fluorescence imaging, we will quantify RNA granule marker proteins in live cells to uncover the roles of circRNAs as scaffolds, potentially reshaping how we understand cellular organization.
