Summary
Landscapes are politically meaningful. But why? To answer this question Disconnected Landscapes focuses on how Israeli settlers and Palestinian villagers engage in everyday acts to (re)imagine the contested landscape they inhabit as theirs. It concludes, to understand why a landscape is political we must examine its centrality to everyday struggles over questions of who we are and why we belong.
