Summary

The Open Borders Dataset captures how countries around the world create and manage open border regimes - agreements that allow people to move freely across borders with little or no control. By building a global dataset spanning 35 years, the project uncovers who benefits from open borders, how states coordinate them, and how open border regimes adapt in times of crisis.
