Summary

Greenland is often misunderstood. Most of the misunderstandings comes from reading the island, its people and their ambitions from only one perspective. This monograph will convey a nuanced image of how Kalaallit got to where they are today, and where they are heading from here, by focusing on the paradoxes produced by clashes of scale and ambition, and by conditions largely set by outsiders.
