Summary
On this expedition to Arctic Greenland, we will sample microbiomes of Arctic char ecotypes in the early stages of speciation, their stickleback prey, and their environment along a gradient of postglacial lakes aged 3,000-11,000 years. This will allow us to investigate how microbes influence ecological adaptations of their host in extreme polar environments and the early formation of new species.
