AI safety has attracted millions in funding and significant political influence to mitigate the alleged risks of AI to humanity. Yet, tightly entangled with Silicon Valley capital and dominated by white, male Westerners, urgent questions remain about whose vision of the future is being protected. This workshop critically examines the assumptions and power structures behind the movement.
