Summary The aim of the conference is to bring together historians working with women's and gender history related to the Nordic countries and further to bring attention to and discuss question related to the conference theme, Gender, Power and Disempowerment. The Nordic Women's and Gender History Conference is an established forum for historians studying women, gender and sexuality in a Nordic context. Here, historians working within different academic subfields meet to present and discuss new historical research and questions relevant to the field. They have been of great importance for establishing a strong Nordic research environment for women's and gender history. The XIII Nordic Women's and Gender History Conference 2021 will take place on 19-21 August at Aarhus University (Denmark).
