Summary The Ingholt Archive project brings the entire Palmyra part of Harald Ingholt's archive to the academic community and general public. The archive which was created from the early 20th century and upkept until the 1970s has been housed since the 1980s at Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek. It has been digitised, researched and commented on within the framework of the Palmyra Portrait Project and the Archive Archaeology Project, funded by the Carlsberg Foundation and the ALIPH foundation. The archive will be published in print and as an e-publication with extensive research added to the objects held in the archive. Furthermore a digitised version of the archive will be made available on a freely accessible online repository, which allows anyone to "visit" it without wearing out the physical archive.
