Equipment to investigate the molecular mechanism whereby magnesium dilates blood vessels

The aim of the project is to investigate how magnesium affect blood vessels, to understand how it lowers blood pressure. For this additional research infrastructure is needed in the form of a myograph system. Understanding this basic mechanism to lower blood pressure by the mineral magnesium, is important for our basic understanding of blood pressure maintenance and conditions with elevated blood pressure.
