Creative Tastebuds is a cross-disciplinary symposium in Aarhus 11-12th of May 2020. The event focuses on relations between food, taste and sustainability. It will be a platform for dialogues between scientists, chefs, artists, anthropologists, food writers and other actors engaged in the current debates on how to build a future food system in the context of climate change. Asking the question: How can our sense of taste save the planet? - the organisers want to involve both presenters and audience in new ways of understanding taste, in order to broaden our understandings of how sustainability and food production/consumption are connected. International Journal of Food Design will publish opinion papers and articles from the participants.
