10th International Workshop on Folk Music Analysis

The 10th International Workshop on Folk Music Analysis (FMA2020) will be hosted by the Department of Architecture, Design and Media Technology, Aalborg University, from 29.6-1.7.20. The workshop provides an international forum for multidisciplinary research on traditional music, involving researchers in (ethno)musicology, cultural studies, computer science and music information retrieval. The workshop fosters transdisciplinary exchange and spawns new collaborative networks, as well as new ideas, techniques and tools that will enrich our understanding of traditional music and promote the preservation and dissemination of musical cultural heritage. The workshop will include a scientific programme of ca. 25 papers (to be published by Springer), as well as a public concert and key-note talks.
