Resumé

The Science and Democracy Network (SDN) was established in Berlin in 2002. SDN exists to maintain and build an international network of scholars and practitioners engaged with the democratic governance of science and technology. It includes senior scholars from around the world, but also aims to improve the quality, visibility and dissemination activities of younger scholars working in Science & Technology Studies (STS). SDN is anchored in Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government but previous meetings have also taken place in Cambridge University, University College London, the University of Vienna and the Technical University of Munich. In 2020 the annual meeting will take place with Carlsberg Foundation support at Copenhagen Business School.
