Spectrofluorometer infrastructure

In this application we apply for upgrading of a spectrofluorometer to state of the art for use by multiple users and projects at the University of Southern Denmark and others. Fluorescence and the spectrofluorometer is a key instrument for many projects and is an indispensable tool for many of the ongoing and planned advanced fluorescence based kinetic, fluorophore development/characterization and bioimaging projects. One of the main projects the instrument will be used for is "Development of RNA probes for spatial transcriptomics". The instrument will be located at the Danish Molecular Biomedical Imaging Centre (DaMBIC http://www.dambic.dk), a core facility for bioimaging at SDU.
