The robots are coming

The research stay at UW Wisconsin-Madison aims at creating synergies in the combination of expertise in organizational change, professional work and identities by Dr. Jette Ernst with the deep insights into human-robot interaction of Dr. Mutlu and his team. We will examine what happens in real life situations when robots are employed to aid humans and improve the effeciency of work, among others, in a study of human interactions with food delivery robots and in a study of work automation in hospitals. The project aims to develop knowledge on how how robots affect human social and physical environments. We expect to contribute considerably to basic research and understanding in the field of human-robot collaboration.
