Dal Pollino all Orsomarso i Analecta Supplementa

In October 2019, the Danish Institute took part in organizing the conference 'Dal Pollino all’Orsomarso. Ricerche archeologiche tra Ionio e Tirreno' in San Lorenzo Bellizzi, southern Italy. After the conference a publication was prepared by the Danish Institute in collaboration with the Centro Regionale di Speleologia “Enzo dei Medici”. The publication addresses recent research within the fields of archaeology and cultural transformations at the site of Timpone della Motta and other archaeological sites in the Pollino and Orsomarso mountains. The publication is part of the project 'The Sphere of the Divine – The Timpone della Motta in its Western Mediterranean Setting'. The Project is supported by the Carlsberg Foundation, housed by the Danish Institute and directed by Gloria Mittica.
