Resumé
Emission-based imaging has had a large impact on science and society, especially in bio-related and medical areas. Developing new imaging techniques in the tissue transparent near infrared (NIR) region of the electromagnetic spectrum will further these developments. The grant will allow us to buy 2 pump lasers for two tunable NIR lasers which will allow us to build a dedicated wide-field microscopy setup for exploring NIR imaging with Lanthanide-based nanoparticles.
