Resumé
The Kesterite Workshop is a conference for research on Kesterite solar cells as well as other emerging, Earth-abundant, inorganic thin-film solar cells. The Kesterite material consists of copper, zinc, tin, and sulfur or selenium, and solar cells made of compounds such as the Kesterite have the potential to meet the cost, efficiency, and sustainability requirements for future solar energy deployment. The European Kesterite Workshop is the premier conference in the field of emerging solar cells. Since 2009, the event has provided a forum to stimulate discussion on current issues to improve understanding of the solar cell devices. It aims to establish new networks among European researchers and strengthen European competitiveness on emerging solar cell research.
