Assessing Digital Capabilities for Digital Transformation - A Design Science Research Project

We live in an era where many organizations embark on digital transformation to stay relevant. However, organizations struggle to outline the digital capabilities they have or need for their digital transformation objectives. This struggle stems from the paucity of knowledge and practical guidance on assessing the digital capabilities of organizations relative to their desired digitalization goals. This project aims to use a design science approach to develop and evaluate a model and method (the MIND capability canvas: M - Management, I - Infrastructure, N - Networking/Sourcing and D - Development Capabilities) as an approach for assessing digital capabilities in relation to an organization's goals.
