Linderstrøm-Lang Symposium 2022: Frontiers in Protein Science

As one of the most prominent Danish scientists of the last century, Kaj Ulrik Linderstrøm-Lang has transformed protein science. During his time as head of the Carlsberg Laboratory in the 40-50’s he made pivotal contributions to our understanding of the structure and dynamics in proteins, the molecular pillars of life. Importantly, he nurtured a creative spirit for some of the best scientist of his time in biophysics and biochemistry, including the Nobel Prize laureate, Chris Anfinsen. Thus, he paved the way for a work-class Danish biotech sector. We wish to honor his collaborative spirit with the Linderstrøm-Lang Symposium, bringing together scientist from different industrial and academic disciplines, in an open and collaborative atmosphere to discuss new frontiers of protein science.
