The packages aims at understanding 1) the actual lifetime wage inequality in Denmark and the observables drivers of ineqaulity such as education and labor market histories, 2) transitions in and out of unemployment, which is a major determinant of lifetime wage inequality, 3) the underlying economic mechanisms generating differences in lifetime wage income. The overall goal of the project is to provide policy advice on which economic mechanisms are the main drivers of lifetime economic differences.
