Resumé
Business activities accelerate climate change, and I am interested in researching how to address these issues through innovation and creativity, as well as more appropriate business models. Human activities are so pervasive that they now entrench themselves globally in the Earth System, changing the patterns of the oceans, atmosphere, land, biosphere and climate, causing the transition to a new geological time unit: the Anthropocene. Actions must be taken to slow down climate change to preserve our planet for future generations. This entails changing the business principles that are acting parasitically towards the Earth System. Slow approaches can challenge the current business models; I will conduct research in Venice and Japan to present examples of Slow Movements and business models.
