JUST CITIES

The conference brings together researchers from the arts, humanities, social sciences and design to discuss: What is a just city? How may we envision equitable urban development in the future? What role does intersectional questions such as gender, age, race or ability play when it comes to just urban development? A key interest is generating novel methodologies that are able to articulate the experience of inequality that can be difficult to grasp in hard facts or numbers but which are crucial when dealing with the complex problems that arise when questions of urban development intersect with questions of justice.
