Resumé
Academia and society often overlook the lessons that can be learned from past waves of migration when examining current migration trends. Further, historical research on migration often neglects the valuable insights that e.g. ethnographic perspectives bring to the table. This book explores the advantages of merging history and ethnography to help us better understand migration as a phenomenon.
