Investigating attention allocation to different emotional cues in work-related burnout: An eye-tracking study

We suggest that a bias towards negative emotional cues may occur in patients with burnout. To investigate this, we will measure patients’ dwelling time on negative vs. neutral emotional content. A portable eye-tracker will allow to bring the lab to where the exhausted and fragile patients are. The project may result in future treatments of burnout.
