Ethnolinguistic cornering. Language identities in the lived life of youth.

The aim of my project is to write a book about how understandings, feelings and attitudes linked to language influence the social life of human beings. I investigate how students followed during 10 years of schooling use these understandings of language to position themselves and others and how this develops over time and coin the notion of ethnolinguistic cornering to describe these activities.
