Physiology meets ecology: bridging the gap between biologging data and animal energy expenditure (PHYME)

We wish to build a mobile climate-chamber in which we can study the metabolism of larger animals affected by climate change. This will allow is to ‘ground-truth’ large amounts of field-aquired telemetry data and revolutionize the way we look at energy expenditure of key species ranging from arctic ungulates to dessert-dewelling antelopes.
