Researching the Reading Experience in the Digital Age: From Print, to the Bookternet and Back Again

At the conference, we want to explore the opportunities and challenges stemming from online reading communities such as Booktok. We'll ask questions like: How do these online groups motivate young people to read more and how does it affect their identity as readers? Further, we will discuss the balance between social, cultural, and commercial interests in the so-called ‘Bookternet’.
