The aim of this book is to move beyond established narratives that represent migration as an urgency that needs to be met with ever-stricter policy regimes. Based on ethnographic case studies on the lived experiences of refugees and volunteers in Denmark after the '2015 refugee crisis', it presents concrete strategies for researching The Everyday Life of Migration in a European context.
