Electron beam spectroscopy for nanoscopic characterization of organic photovoltaic materials

The design of advanced photovoltaic (PV) materials exhibiting maximal solar energy conversion efficiency necessitates detailed understanding of light absorption mechanisms on atomic length scales. This project will enable pioneering nanoscopic explorations of state-of-the-art organic PV materials using electron beam spectroscopy to develop next-generation solar cells with record efficiencies.
