Research infrastructure for investigating epithelial ion transport

This project investigates ion channels important for controlling ion transport and cell communication. We use specialized models to turn off channel function and see how it affects ion balance and expression of genes in the body. For this we need advanced equipment to measure the expression of genes to help us better understand how these channels function in the body.
