Resumé

Greenland's coastal glaciers release meltwater into the fjords and the water creates "plumes" of muddy water. The plumes act as a pump for warm ocean water and cause increased melting of the glacier front. In this project, we will measure glacier thickness to investigate a well-known plume through mathematical models, aiming to understand its impact on glacier melting and fjord dynamics.
