Local Governments in the History of Public Administration

It is studied and analyzed how Danish local governments adapt strategically to changed environments and contribute to the building of resilient institutional capacity. The synthesis aims to change basic assumptions in PA-history, to enrich strategic mangement thinking and institutional theory. A monograph and articles will be published and the research disseminated to a broader audience.
