This workshop explores how disgust—toward terrain, waste, politics, climate, and labor—animates frontiers. Disgust is not a barrier; it is the frontier’s condition of possibility. The proposed workshop brings together senior and junior scholars to co-create a special issue in a high-ranking journal that advances our understanding of frontier-making through the concept of disgust.
