HEIMDALL: A VR training platform for intelligent humanoid robots in extreme environments

We will teach humanoid robots to act as a physical extension of a person in extreme environments. Through Virtual Reality, an operator can directly guide the robot's actions to perform complex tasks, from assisting astronauts on the Moon to handling hazardous materials in a chemistry lab. This first-of-its-kind facility leads to better space robotics systems and accelerates scientific discovery.
