Resumé
The Second Earth Spectrograph (2ES) is an extreme-precision spectrograph that will be installed on a 2.2 m telescope in Chile with the goal of discovering temperate terrestrial Earth-mass planets in the habitable zone around the brightest solar-type stars in the sky. These will be targets for next-gen telescopes to search for biosignatures (signs of life) in their atmospheres.
