Defining Gene Regulatory Networks Orchestrating Hepatocyte Cell Identity

We will implement high-throughput methods to uncover how liver cells control their gene expression to changing conditions like diet, exercise, and obesity. By mapping these gene regulatory networks, we aim to improve understanding of liver function, support the design of better medicines, and advance liver organoid models for treating metabolic diseases.
