Resumé
Without steady yield gains achieved by crop breeding, we would be unable to feed the current global population. This project will build a database of crop varieties released in the OECD, detailing their traits and breeders. With such data, researchers can explore how to improve the crop innovation system to increase global food supply without expanding cropland into pristine environments.
