UWITEC sediment coring system for paleoenvironmental research

The UWITEC sediment coring system enables the retrieval of sediment cores from lakes and shallow marine waters. Once successfully sampled, these sediments can be investigated to elucidate past changes in the climate and environment. The ability to sample sediment will enhance our capacity to investigate high-resolution changes across Denmark and the Arctic, at timescales of decades to millennia.
