Resumé

Murayghat in Jordan, with its dolmens, monuments, and feasting remains, offers a rare window into how ritual shaped society and helped to overcome the crisis at the dawn of the Early Bronze Age. By analysing pottery, bones, tools, and plant remains, research aims to reveal how ceremonies of burial, food, and gathering helped communities face crises and forge new social and political identities.
