Resumé
Cavity-enhanced photon-photon interactions are limited because short light pulses cannot enter cavities with large photon lifetimes, which forbids simultaneous spatial confinement and long interaction times. At DTU Electro, we study nanocavities with mirrors that open and close fast enough to break this limitation. ENLIGHTEN will establish a new laser system that enables such dynamic cavities.
