The negative effects of globalisation are manifold, and businesses have initiated sustainability practices in their global value chains. Still, value chains do not only contain known activities, but also 'dark' fragments that we know much less about. This challenges sustainability efforts. This research aims to explore links between such fragmentation and sustainability in global value chains.
